The Take-Up welcomes submissions from all writers, regardless of background or experience. We are principally interested in thoughtful reviews and essays related to cinema. We also welcome critical work on television, music, games, and other media.
We believe that creators should maintain ownership of their work whenever possible. While the Take-Up serves as a platform for publication, contributors retain the copyright on their work, unless otherwise specified. Republication of work published on The Take-Up is permitted, provided the site is attributed as the original publisher.
