Cliff Froehlich, who moonlights as The Take-Up's copy editor, is the retired executive director of Cinema St. Louis and a longtime adjunct professor of film studies at Webster University. In his journalistic career, he held editorial positions at The Riverfront Times (RFT), St. Louis Magazine, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and now contributes film reviews to the RFT. He serves on the boards of the Metro East Humane Society, which he co-founded, and the River City Journalism Fund.
